Here is what happened on Thursday:
Violet completed her daily ritual of communing with our neighbor's parakeets on the back porch.
We went to wic, and Violet had a little trouble sharing toys with the girl in this picture, but was otherwise well-behaved, as usual.
We went to our favorite farmer's market downtown, on the bus, with our friends, and I forgot to take pictures. Also, I got beets and swiss chard for our pizza tomorrow. Obviously it is going to be a very interesting pizza.
Happy Pi Day (3/14)! To celebrate, I made this lemon-sour cream pie, and it was delicious.
We went to WIC today too! Maggie is still 90th percentile for length and 70th percentile for weight. She's gaining weight steadily though- about 1/2 ounce a day. Your beet and swiss chard pizza will definitely be interesting. But since you're making it, I'm sure it will be delicious. Oh, and we made key lime pie for Pi day today. I love a holiday that involves pie.

ReplyDeleteI think this Pi Day deal is awesome. I love Pies and I think it is always cool when the date makes interesting combinations of numbers. I just thought of something, in 2 years it will be 3/14/15. Just taking Pi out a couple more decimal places.
