Our Home!

Before:

After!

Here is our wonderful little apartment! The rest of the pictures are just some of my favorite parts of our home!

Our first bookshelf! We had to get another little one for the rest of our books and dvds.

The table. This is the only piece of furniture we bought ourselves!

Coolest family proclamation ever!

I am in LOVE with this knob on our tv stand. The only reason we got the tv stand we did was so I could go pick out a new knob for it at anthropologie.

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to use our fireplace yet. :(

The second bookshelf. Note the cute picture of Glenn in the circle frame.

Frames that still need a home on our walls.

We haven't used them yet, but I love these little lantern lights! Someday soon, we are going to eat dinner beneath them at night!

Last but not least, my wonderful husband, fixing something. Doesn't he just look wonderful?

Twelve Days!

TWELVE MORE DAYS! Twelve days, that is, until I become Mrs. Glenn LeSueur! I couldn't be more excited. By the way, I finished my last paper this afternoon. All I have left are a couple of not-too-bad finals next week. I feel so relieved. Now, here is a good picture of Glenn and I to keep you all going until the end of the semester:

Dance Festival was so fun! That is why we are all dressed up in that picture. We were called to lead the YSA old school hip hop dance for the stake Dance Festival. We were reluctant to accept the assignment, but we ended up having a really great time. Glenn is so a natural hip hopper.

ENGAGEMENT PICTURES

Here are some of our favorites! We were amazed by how beautiful they all were! Mark Mabry took them, and he is seriously an amazing photographer. We already are pretty sure which one we are going to use for our announcements, but still tell me which one is your favorite. I promise we are not using the kissing one for our announcements!

Peter Pan and Tiger Lilly

Here's a good love story for you:
Once upon a time there was a boy named Peter. His girlfriend was this beautiful native american named Tiger Lily. But then one day he brought a girl named Wendy along to Neverland. When he kissed Tiger Lily, Wendy got mad. In the end, everyone thought that Wendy and Peter were the characters in this epic love story, but the truth is, when Peter dropped Wendy off at her house, he went back to Neverland and Tiger Lily, and the two lived happily ever after. THE END

Also, all night long people kept thinking I was Pocohantus. Only a few people saw the connection between mine and Glenn's costumes. I made my costume last year, and then we threw Glenn's together last minute. I'm pretty proud of my handiwork! We made the tunic on friday, and then five minutes before we left yesterday I made the hat. All that is left to say is Glenn look amazing in tights!

Engagement Pictures!

No, we have not gotten them taken yet. But we did decide on a location! We are going to get them taken at the Riparian Preserve. It is right behind the library where I worked this summer, and it is beautiful. There is a lake, and plenty of desert. Last Sunday, Glenn surprised me a drove me there, and he brought a camera. We took some pictures just to get some ideas of pretty places around the preserve that we could use in our pictures. Here is my favorite one!

I love Glenn!

The ugly face at the Science Center

Saturday was the first Saturday that I haven't had to work in ages, so Glenn surprised me and took me to the Science Center! It was soooooooo much fun. One of my favorite things was this mirror that you sat on opposite sides of and you could match up your faces so it alternated parts of each of your faces to make a new face! Kind of hard to explain. Let's just say, I really hope our children don't look like this:

The paparazzi

I decided it was definitely time for a new post. It's been a while since my last one, and I have made some new blogger friends! Unfortunately, I didn't have many pictures to blog. But, below you can see when Glenn and I were caught on an early morning swim by the paparazzi! just kidding, obviously, it was Becky. I think these are the only pictures we got of our whole camping trip! It was a pretty eventful trip, and including a skunk that loved walking around our campsite. Anyway, in the morning, Glenn and I took a wonderful swim in the river the we were camped beside. It wasn't even cold!

So, in this last picture, I look like a kind of just did a good swing, huh? Except the ball is still on the ground! Glenn and I went to the driving range, and it was fun, but I sure missed the ball a lot.

Also, just in case there are any readers of the blog who don't already know, which I doubt, Glenn and I are engaged!

Cabin Trip

Since I didn't have to work Monday or Tuesday this week, and Glenn's parents were at his cabin, we decided to take an overnight trip up to Pine! It ended up being so much fun. The weather was wonderful and we actually packed a lot of fun into the short time that we were there. Here are pictures!
Javelinas:

This is me spelunking:

We went to this amazing place called the Tonto Natural Bridge. You only have to hike like a quarter mile and the you get to this really cool place. The pictures don't do it justice.

Fishing! This was my first time fishing, and I caught five! Who knew that catching a fish is one of the most exciting things ever. I think I lost about ten fish because I would get so excited when they starting flopping around! Now I just sound like a killer. An innocent fish killer.

FLORDIA

I got home on Tuesday night from my trip to Florida with Glenn and his family! We went to Disney World on Saturday.

During the parade:

The beach!

We found so many pretty shells! We used most of them to decorate our awesome sand castle, and I brought my favorite one home.

SHAMU!

The last picture we took at SeaWorld. I love LOVE SeaWorld!

All in all, it was the funnest trip ever!
